tnfacts collects Tamil Nadu's public statistics in one place and makes them easier to compare with other states.
It is modelled on USAFacts. The data comes from existing public sources (RBI, NCRB, NFHS, UDISE+, SRS, ASER, MoSPI, and the Tamil Nadu government). Each value links back to the publication it came from.
When two authoritative sources publish different numbers for the same indicator, both are shown. When a source's methodology changes mid-stream, the break is flagged on the chart. Missing values are left blank rather than interpolated.
What's here today
Ten indicators across four areas: economy, healthcare, education, and law & order. Tamil Nadu is shown alongside Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh.
